results:-
blue and yellow
aka. tartazine and brilliant blue

precautions:-
1. make sure the strip does not emerse into the solvent more than half the cm of the pencil marked line
2. use a pencil to mark the dot instead of a pen to ensure not interference of the absorbtion between the pen ink and ethanol
3. the chromatography strip must not touch the walls of the measuring cylinder in order to avoid water droplets to interupt the absorption of solvent

conclusion:-
the colour of the green food dye is blue and yellow
